Network load balancing (NLB) is not bound to a network adapter on the member. NLB must be bound to a network adapter to function properly. For more information, see Windows 2000 Help.
Meaning: NLB must be bound to a network adapter to function properly.
Effect: Load balancing will not function properly until NLB is properly bound to a network adapter. Possible Causes and SolutionsNLB not bound: The network adapter does not have NLB bound to it. To check this:
- In Control Panel, open Network and Dial-up Connections.
- Select the Local Area Connection and open its property sheets.
- Make sure that Network Load Balancing is selected.
Hardware failure: A network adapter failure has occurred and rendered the network adapter that is bound to NLB unavailable.
