When you start Outlook 2002, you may receive the following
error message:
OUTLOOK.EXE - Application Error The application failed to initialize properly (0x6d007e). Click OK to terminate the application.
After you click OK, you may receive the following Dr. Watson error message:
Outlook.exe Exception: Access Violation(0xc0000005)
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or higher has been uninstalled.
RESOLUTION
