System Messages

System messages are messages that are conversations between servers. System messages include public folder hierarchy, public folder content, folder replication, and delivery receipt notification messages.

Non-System Messages

Non-system messages are messages that are sent between users, groups, and contacts. Non-system messages include user-to-user mail, read receipts, delete-without-reading notifications, and Exchange Server monitor messages.
