The "Add" Button Is Unavailable for Category Property Values List (287205)

When you create a document profile in the Add Document Profile Wizard, or when you edit the properties of a document profile that exists, you click the Categories (system) property, click Edit, click Edit Values, and then you type in a new value. However, the Add button is unavailable.
CAUSE
This behavior is by design. You can only add categories by creating categories in the top-level Categories folder in the workspace. When you view the list of values for the category property on a profile form, the categories are displayed in the order that they were created, and not alphabetically by default. Edit Values is enabled in the Document Profile Manager so that you can view the category hierarchy and use the arrow keys to change the display order.
