Files with .eml File Extension Cannot Be Checked in or Published (287204)

This article was previously published under Q287204 SYMPTOMS When you attempt to use the Add Document screen in the
dashboard site to check in or publish a file with an .eml file extension, you
receive the following error message: An error occurred
while processing your request. Please contact your system administrator for
this server. WORKAROUND To work around this issue, use the Web folders interface to
check in and publish the files. STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
