OL2000: Outlook 2000 Users Cannot Send Encrypted Mail to Exchange Server 5.0 Users (287094)

SYMPTOMS

Outlook 2000 users may not be able to send encrypted mail to a user on Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.0.

CAUSE

This problem can occur because the User-certs property is not used as a fallback method when other properties that are stored in the Global Address List are incorrect or are not available.

RESOLUTION
