WD2002: Canon Multipass C5000 Printer Prints Wavy Lines (286863)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a document containing graphics to a Canon MultiPass C5000 printer, the printer prints several pages containing wavy lines. The printer may print hundreds of pages with one line of ASCII on each page.

If the document does not contain graphics, the document is printed correctly.

CAUSE

This behavior is caused by a problem with the Canon printer driver.

RESOLUTION

A new driver that resolves this issue is available from Canon.
