Clients Cannot Browse the Internet Through a Proxy Server (286804)

SYMPTOMS

After you install a Proxy Server on your network, client Web browsers may not be able to connect to Internet resources.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when the client browsers have not been configured to point to the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the Proxy Server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, set the client browsers to use the IP address of the Proxy Server.
