In the Folders view in Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), if you click public folders to retrieve a tree, the browser may stop responding (hang).

The addHierarchy method has a synchronous propfind to get the information about the top-level hierarchy (TLH) before it proceeds to do the expansion of the TLH. If the server is down or it takes a long time to retrieve the data, the browser appears to stop responding (hang).
