STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Internet Explorer version 5.5 Service Pack 2.MORE INFORMATION
The fixes for this problem come in two separate installable executable (.exe) files. One is for Windows Me, and the other is for Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1. You must install the hotfix binaries from both installable .exe files to resolve this problem. Either of the .exe files alone will not solve the problem.
