This article was previously published under Q286248 SYMPTOMS When you start the MechWarrior Autoconfig utility before
you start the game or if you quit MechWarrior 4 and then run the MechWarrior
Autoconfig utility again, the MechWarrior Autoconfig utility is reset to the
default values.CAUSE This behavior is by design.MORE INFORMATION Every time you run the MechWarrior Autoconfig utility, it
takes a snapshot of the computer and determines the best settings for the
computer.
The changes that you make in the MechWarrior Autoconfig
utility, affect the game when you start it.
