The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0
This article was previously published under Q286173 SYMPTOMS
When you have a Proxy Server configured with both an internal and an external network adapter, users on the internal network may not be able to use the Proxy Server to gain access to Internet resources through the external network card.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the external network adapter is included in the local address table, which ought to contain only the IP addresses of your internal private network.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, remove the IP address of the external network adapter from the local address table.
