Operating System 9.1 or later, you do not have to install the following
extensions:
- USB IntelliMouse
- USB IntelliMouse Explorer
- USB IntelliMouse IntelliEye
MORE INFORMATION In earlier versions of the Macintosh Operating system,
8.5.1, 8.6, 9.0, and 9.0.4, the Microsoft IntelliPoint for the Macintosh
software required the USB IntelliMouse extensions to use all the features of
the pointing devices listed in the "Applies to" section.
In MAC OS 9.1 or a later version, you must activate the IntelliPoint control panel to
use all the features of the IntelliPoint for the Macintosh software and your
Microsoft pointing device.
