Visio2000: HP LaserJet 4050 TN PCL 6 Driver Prints a Blank Page (286013)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to save a Microsoft Visio drawing, the printer prints a blank page.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you are using the HP LaserJet 4050 TN printer with the PLC 6 driver, and this printer is set as the default printer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:
  • Install the PLC 5 driver for the HP LaserJet 4050 TN printer from the Hewlett-Packard Web site.

    -or-
  • On the File menu, click Properties. Click the Output Format tab. Under Format pages for, click Microsoft PowerPoint slide show or HTML or GIF output, instead of Printing.
