SYMPTOMS
A SQL Server scheduled job may skip every other day when a day is skipped in a weekly schedule. This applies to scheduled jobs whose ending time ends at the next day. For instance, jobs scheduled from 6:15 A.M. to 12:15 A.M. in SQL Server 2000.

In SQL Server 7.0, the following job schedule will experience the above symptoms; for instance, jobs scheduled to occur every 1 week(s) on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every 1 hour(s) between 6:15 A.M. and 12:15 A.M.
In SQL Server 2000, the following job schedule will experience the above symptoms; for instance, jobs scheduled to occur every 1 week(s) on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every 1 hour(s) between 6:15:00 A.M. and 12:15:59 A.M.
The job runs from Sunday 6:15 A.M. to Monday 12:15 A.M. Then the job skips the second day (it should start again at 6:15 A.M. on Monday but it does not). The job starts running again at 6:15 A.M. on the third day, which is Tuesday.
