SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Adobe Type Manager 4.0 for Windows 98 on a computer running Windows 2000 Professional, you find that the installation does not work.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Adobe Type Manager 4.0 is not compatible with Windows 2000 Professional.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, obtain the upgrade to Adobe Type Manager 4.0.
