Special text formatting is lost when a Word document is pasted in PowerPoint2002 or in PowerPoint 2003 (285506)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2002
This article was previously published under Q285506 SYMPTOMS When you copy text from Microsoft Word and then paste it
into PowerPoint, the format of the text may be changed: Special formatting may
be ignored or altered, and there may not be a similar way of formatting the
text in PowerPoint. CAUSE This behavior can occur because some of the font attributes
that are available in Word are not supported by PowerPoint. Although PowerPoint
supports a wide variety of font styles and effects, an even greater range of
font attributes is available in Word.
