This article was previously published under Q285486 SYMPTOMS
When you rotate a picture on a slide, and then preview that picture in the Format Photo Album dialog box, the picture does not appear in the Preview window with the rotational value you set.
The following list describes how the preview image appears occurs with the following ranges of rotation:
- When the picture is rotated between 316 and 44 degrees, it is not rotated in the Preview window.
- When the picture is rotated between 45 and 134 degrees, it appears to be rotated 90 degrees in the Preview window.
- When the picture is rotated between 135 and 224 degrees, it appears to be rotated 180 degrees in the Preview window.
- When the picture is rotated between 225 and 314 degrees, it appears to be rotated 270 degrees in the Preview window.
CAUSE
The Preview window in the Format Photo Album dialog box only supports the rotation of a picture in the following degrees of rotation:
- 0 (zero) degrees
- 90 degrees
- 180 degrees
- 270 degrees
If the image is with in +/- 44 degrees of rotation from one of the above number, the Preview window displays the picture as though it had that rotational value.
