PPT2002: Page Number Changes on Slide But Does Not Change in Review Flag (285447)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2002

This article was previously published under Q285447

SYMPTOMS

When a presentation is reviewed by at least one other person, the review commentary in the reviewer's banner may not reflect the final content of the slide.

For example, if a reviewer of a presentation inserts a slide number into a specific slide, and the order of the slide is subsequently changed in the presentation, the slide number changes, but the commentary in the reviewer's banner does not change.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because the commentary in the reviewer's comments banner reflects the actual change that the reviewer made. If a change is made to a slide after the reviewer's changes have been merged with the presentation, the subsequent change does not appear in that reviewer's banner.
