PUB2002: Drawing Canvas Is Not Included When You Import Word 2002 Document (285388)

When you import a Word 2002 document that includes objects on a Drawing Canvas, the Drawing Canvas is not imported.
CAUSE
The converter that Publisher 2002 uses to import Microsoft Word documents is intended to import text, text formatting, and inline graphics. It is not intended to import all objects that can be contained in a Word document.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
