When you are using a Microsoft Windows 2000-based domain controller and users on your network log on from a variety of computers, including some that are running Microsoft Windows 95 or 98, you may find that you cannot use group policies to automatically configure logon scripts.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps: - Create a logon script for all users.
- In the Properties dialog box for each user account, specify the name of the logon script.
- Place the logon script in the following folder:
winnt\sysvol\sysvol\domainname\scripts
