Mobile Device Folder Is Not Removed When the Device Is Deleted (285199)

SYMPTOMS

If you are an administrator and you enable a user for wireless mobility, after you use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in to configure a device, when the user personalizes the device through the following Web page: http://server/airweb/usa, a folder is created in the user's mailbox. If you delete the device that is associated with the user, the folder that was created during the personalization process is not removed.

CAUSE

The folder is not deleted because it may contain information that was sent to the mobile device.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, manually delete the folder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
