in the "Applies to" section, the default country setting may be
United States rather than Canada.CAUSE This issue may occur if the language regional settings are
set to English (United States).RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, change the default language
settings. To do this, follow these steps. Microsoft Windows 2000- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Regional Options icon.
- Click the General tab. In the Your locale (location) list, select either English (Canada) or French (Canada).
- Click OK.
Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me)- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Regional Settings icon.
- Click the Regional Settings tab.
- In the Language list, select English. In the Country/Region list select Canada.
- Click OK.
- Restart your computer.
The next time that you start Microsoft Streets and Trips 2001 or Microsoft MapPoint 2001
and use the Find feature the default country will be set to Canada. MORE INFORMATIONIn Streets and Trips 2001 and MapPoint 2001, the Find feature is based on the regional settings from your operating system. In most cases, the default setting is English (United States).
