Range of a Yearly Report Does Not Equal an Exact Year (284504)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000
This article was previously published under Q284504 SYMPTOMS
When you use Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server to create a yearly report, the range of dates for the report does not equal an exact year. Yearly reports start on the first of the month, but end on the last full work day that they are ran. In addition, yearly reports can go back only to the date that ISA Server was installed.
For example, if you create a yearly report on Tuesday, July 18, 2000, the report ranges from Thursday, July 01, 1999 to Monday, July 17, 2000, instead of July 18, 1999 to July 17, 2000.
If you installed ISA Server on Dec 10, 1999, the report ranges from Friday, December 10, 1999 to Monday, July 17, 2000.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because in a yearly report, dates are resolved for one month and not one day. Therefore, the report starts at the first of the month in the yearly query.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
