OL2002: Message Sent from an Account That Is Not Included in the Default Send\Receive Group (284372)

SYMPTOMS

If you select specific accounts to send and receive messages by using the default Send/Receive group feature in Outlook 2002, messages are sent by an account that you did not specify to send or receive messages.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Send immediately when connected option is enabled in Outlook 2002.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, disable the Send immediately when connected option. To do this:
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. Click the Mail Setup tab.
  4. On the Mail Setup tab, click to clear the Send immediately when connected check box.
