OL2002: Incorrect Icon Appears When You Mark IMAP Message for Deletion, Then for Download (284370)

SYMPTOMS

If you mark a message for deletion from an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) e-mail account in Outlook 2002, and then mark it for download, you may find that the Download a Copy icon appears instead of the Download icon.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, mark the message for download a second time to display the correct icon.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
