SYMPTOMS

When you receive a message with a hyperlink in the Subject field, you cannot activate the hyperlink in the Subject field by using the keyboard.

If you are a keyboard-only user and use a keyboard keystroke to enter the Subject field (by pressing Shift + Tab to return from the main body of the message), and then press Enter, the focus goes back to the main body of the message.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because this is an accessibility design limitation.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior if you are a keyboard-only users, copy and paste the link into an Internet browser. For mouse users, simply click the hyperlink in the Subject field.
