OSE: Buttons in Subscription Dialog Box Not Visible on Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh (284335)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to subscribe to document changes or discussion changes on a Web server that is running the Office Server Extensions, and you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 for Macintosh, you do not see an OK button or a Cancel button in the Subscription dialog box to submit your request.

CAUSE

The buttons are displayed beyond the boundaries of the window that contains the form.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, after you type your e-mail address in the form, press the TAB key twice, and then press ENTER. This submits the form.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
