Windows Shortcut Keys Stop Working with Service Pack 1 (283830)

If you configure a user account so that its logon script runs synchronously, and then install Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1), all Windows hotkeys and shortcut keys cease to work. For example, if you press the Windows logo key + E to start Microsoft Windows Explorer, Windows Explorer does not start.
