"No License Server" Error Message Appears When You Try to Connect to Terminal Server After Mode Change (283760)

When you change the Terminal Server mode on the server, from Remote Administration mode to Application mode, and you then try to open a session on a client computer, the following error message may appear:
The remote session was disconnected because there are no Terminal Server License Servers available to provide a license.
Please contact the server administrator.
Formerly, you received a warning message 90 days before you had to obtain a license.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the client computer has just moved from a domain that has a Terminal Server License Server to a domain that does not have one. In this situation, the 90-day license warning function becomes disabled.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, obtain a license for the client to connect to the Terminal Server.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
