SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to remove (uninstall) Microsoft Visio 2000 by using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, the Remove button is not available.

RESOLUTION

To remove Visio from your computer, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select Visio Standard Edition 2000.
  4. Click Change.
  5. Click Next twice.
  6. Click the Uninstall Visio button.
  7. Click Next twice.
  8. Click Finish.
