Browser Window Opens When You Start the Internet Connection Wizard (283310)

SYMPTOMS

When you double-click the Internet Connection Wizard icon on the desktop, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 may start instead of the Internet Connection Wizard. The Internet Explorer window then closes ,and the Internet Connection Wizard appears.

RESOLUTION

Although there is no workaround for this issue, no harm is done by this issue.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
