you click Add or Remove Programs, and then click Add/Remove Windows Components,
Terminal Server is not in the list of components that are available to install. CAUSETerminal Server (formerly Terminal Services in Application Server mode) is available on the Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter editions of Windows Server 2003, and on all versions of Windows 2000 Server. Only Remote Desktop (formerly Terminal Services in Remote Administration mode) is available on Windows Server 2003, Web Edition-based computers.
RESOLUTIONTo remotely administer your Windows Server 2003, Web Edition-based computer, use Remote Desktop. To enable or disable Remote Desktop, follow these steps: - Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
- On the Remote tab, click Allow users to connect remotely to this computer.
- Click Select Remote Users, and then click Add or click Remove to add or remove Remote Desktop users.
Remote Desktop is available on all versions of Windows Server 2003.

MORE INFORMATIONMicrosoft Windows 2000 Server and Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server support two modes of Terminal Services: Remote Administration Mode and Application Mode. On Windows 2000, you toggle between these modes by using the Windows Components wizard in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. For Windows Server 2003, Remote Administration mode is referred to as Remote Desktop mode, and can be enabled or disabled by right-clicking My Computer, clicking Properties, and then clicking the Remote tab. Application Mode is now referred to as Terminal Server mode, and is available in Windows Server 2003 Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter editions. It can be enabled using the Add/Remove Windows Components wizard in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel, or through the Manage Your Server wizard.
