When you post a message, if Microsoft Visual Basic 6 or Microsoft Access 97 is also running, Outlook Express reports that the spelling checker was cancelled.
WORKAROUND
When you post messages to newsgroups, make sure that you do not have Visual Basic 6 or Access 97 running.
If this behavior occurs, close Outlook Express, Visual Basic, and Access, and then restart Outlook Express. The spelling checker should then work as expected.
