When you create a dial-up connection on your computer, you cannot specify whether the NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT) protocol is active on the adapter.
RESOLUTION
If you disable the binding for File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks for the dial-up adapter, NetBT is also disabled.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
