ACC2002: Microsoft Paint Cannot Be Found in the Current Path During Change Icon Operation (282375)

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to change the icon for an object during any of the following operations
Insert Object
Convert Object
Paste Special
by using the From File option, you receive the following message:
File mspaint.exe does not exist.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:
- Run Microsoft Paint for the first time. To do so, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Paint.
This establishes the path for the program in the registry and allows Mspaint.exe to be found when you attempt to change icons.
-or- - In the Change Icon dialog box, type the full path to Mspaint.exe in the From File box, which is typically the following:
C:\Windir\System32\Mspaint.exe
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
