OL97: French Outlook E-mail Profiles Display Public Folders in the English-Language on First Run (282176)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a new e-mail profile with the Microsoft Exchange Server Service on computers that are running French Windows NT and French Outlook 97, your Public Folders folder appears in the English-language.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, restart Outlook.

This issue does not occur in later versions of Outlook.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior occurs on the first access of the profile only. Subsequent access of the profile displays your "Dossiers Publiques" (without quotation marks) in the French-language as expected.
