XL2002: Smart Tags Are Not Re-Pasted When "Redo Paste" Command Is Used (282166)

SYMPTOMS

If you copy a cell containing a smart tag and paste it into another cell, and then you undo and then redo the paste operation, the smart tag no longer appears in the destination cell.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, copy the contents of the original cell again and then paste them into the destination cell.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
