The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server
This article was previously published under Q281976 SYMPTOMS
If you use an account that has Exchange View Only Administrator permissions with either Exchange System Manager or the Conferencing Manager Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in to delete the T.120 Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) object, the object seems to have been removed. However, if you quit and restart Exchange System Manager or the Conferencing Manager MMC snap-in, the T.120 MCU object reappears.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem and completely remove the T.120 MCU object, use an account that has at least Exchange Administrator or Exchange Full Administrator permissions.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. For additional information about the permissions that you need to perform certain administrative conferencing tasks, click the article number below
