SUMMARY

If you change the device address for a mobile user by clicking the Wireless Mobility tab in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in, the user must personalize the device again.

MORE INFORMATION

When you enter the device address, and the user personalizes the device, the device is bound to a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server mailbox by the device address. If you are an administrator and you change the device address, the user must personalize the device again to re-create the binding.

This behavior is by design.
