OL2002: Personal Folders (.pst) File Comments Are Not Listed in the Comment Column of the Outlook Data Files Dialog Box (281368)

SYMPTOMS

When you add comments in a Personal Folders (.pst) File Properties page, the comments do not show up in the Outlook Data Files dialog box.

The Comment section in the Outlook Data Files dialog box is designed to signify the Mail delivery location. The comments in a personal folders (.pst) file are not intended to appear in the Outlook Data Files dialog box. Use the following steps to access the Outlook Data Files dialog box:
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the File menu, click Data File Management.
  3. In the Services box, click Personal Folders, and then click Settings. The comment box is at the bottom.
