"Stop 0x000000D1" Error Message in Ipnat.sys (281292)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using Network Address Translation (NAT) in Windows 2000 to redirect an IP address, and port number, you may receive the following error message on a blue screen:
Stop 0x000000D1(0x0070005D,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xF7197795)

CAUSE

This error message is caused by a race condition between the creation of a mapping from a matched redirect, and the cancellation of that redirect.

RESOLUTION
