Copying Users Does Not Copy All Attributes (281219)

SYMPTOMS

After you select a user in Active Directory Users and Computers and choose copy, not all user properties are copied. Specifically, user properties in the Dial-in, Terminal Services Profile, Sessions, Remote Control and Environment tabs are not copied.

CAUSE

This issue can occur because some of the data that is not copied exists in the single userParameters attribute and may contain settings that are specific to the previous user such as Dial-in Call Back Settings. The userParameters attribute is not copied to the new user.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
