When you view your network adapter in Device Manager, it may be shown with a yellow exclamation mark. The behavior may occur when you try to perform an OEM Preinstall Kit (OPK) installation that updates Net-Class drivers at Setup completion.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because the Netdi.dll file does not correctly parse the device .inf file to determine the correct driver to use. Note that this behavior is not network-adapter specific. The conflict is more likely to occur when the driver you are attempting to update is also one that is included with the Windows operating system. Windows uses the original driver, instead of the newer driver that was placed in the Updates folder for your custom installation.
