Error 0x800A0CC1 When You Delete Category in Business Desk (281151)

When you delete a category based on a custom category definition, the user may not be able to edit existing categories based on a custom definition. When the user tries to edit one of the remaining categories in the Commerce Server Business Desk, the following error message appears:

Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

CAUSE
When you create a category based on a custom category definition that contains custom properties, columns are added to the XXX_CatalogProducts table. If you delete one of the categories, all of the custom columns that were created are deleted.
