OL2002: Outlook Does Not Recognize You as Original Sender When You Resend Hotmail Message (280948)

If you send yourself a message through an account other than a Microsoft Exchange Server account, for example a Hotmail account, and you then attempt to open the message and send it again from the Hotmail Inbox, Outlook does not recognize you as the original sender of the message. You may receive the following error message:
You do not appear to be the original sender of this message. Are you sure you want to resend it?
When you click Yes, the Resend compose window appears.
CAUSE
This issue can occur because the message you are trying to send again is not the original item and because your profile contains an Exchange account.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, open the Sent Items folder in your Exchange mailbox, and then send the message again from there.
