The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Visual InterDev 6.0, when used with:
    • the operating system: Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition

This article was previously published under Q280840

SUMMARY

In Visual InterDev 6.0, you can set the Working Mode to Local Mode to test code that is separate from code that is currently deployed and working in the master application. Local Mode requires that you install a Microsoft Web server, which includes Active Server Pages and the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions, on the development client where Visual InterDev 6.0 is installed.

MORE INFORMATION

Windows Millennium Edition (Me) does not include or support Microsoft Personal Web Server (PWS). Because Local Mode requires a local Web server, Windows Me does not support Local Mode.
