The MSN Photos service in MSN Communities/Groups includes several new features that you can use to upload high-resolution pictures to an online folder, and then you or your friends and relatives can order reprints, postcards, and other printed versions of your pictures.

NOTE: Most existing images in MSN Communities/Groups are not good candidates for use with the third-party printing services that are available in MSN Photos because they are scaled down to a resolution that looks great on your computer monitor, but not on a photographic print.

If you want to prevent unauthorized users from making prints or gifts from your photos, you can remove your pictures from MSN Photos, or you can upload them or move them to a private MSN Community/Group.

If you upload your pictures to a private MSN Community/Group, only members of that community can view your pictures or order prints or gifts from your pictures. If you do not want the members of your private community/group to order prints or gifts from one or more of your pictures, then you should either inform them of your wishes, or you should remove the pictures that you do not want other members to use.

Microsoft and MSN, The Microsoft Network expect members of MSN Communities/Groups to comply with the applicable laws and terms of service when they use the third-party printing services that are available in MSN Photos.

Additional Notes

To conserve storage space on the MSN Community/Group servers, please limit your high-resolution picture uploads to those pictures that you want to use with the third-party printing services that are available in MSN Photos.

Printing services in MSN Photos are provided by third-party vendors, not Microsoft or MSN.

If you are concerned about possible inappropriate or unauthorized use of your pictures, do not upload your pictures to MSN Photos, and remove any photos that you already uploaded.
