This article was previously published under Q280623

SYMPTOMS

In Outlook 2002, when you move around by using the Address box on the Web toolbar, and you click the Back button, the Back button may not redraw correctly, but is dimmed so that it looks like it is unavailable. At other times, the Back button may appear to be available, but nothing happens when you click it. Similar behavior may occur when you click the Forward button.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs only occasionally, and is most likely to occur if you are running Outlook 2002 on Microsoft Terminal Server-based computer.

NOTE: On the Web toolbar, click the vertical line next to Address, drag it to the left until you see the Address box, click the Go button, click the Stop button, and then click the Refresh button.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
