WD2002: Hyperlink Is Not Automatically Updated to Include Appended Text (280587)

When you create a hyperlink in a Microsoft Word document, and then attempt to append additional text to it, the hyperlink is not automatically updated to include the text.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when all of the following are true:
- You move the insertion point from another location in your document to the end of the hyperlink text.
-and- - You append additional text to the hyperlink.
-and- - You move the insertion point to another location in your document.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, place the insertion point at the end of the text that you want updated into the hyperlink, and then press SPACEBAR.
